September 2018 Donation Update
It has been almost two months since the first meeting of 100 Women Who Care Rural Wellington and Area, and we are still feeling the glow of a room full of wonderful women joining together to “give where we live”.
Collectively, we’ve donated $11,000 to Free to Grow (formerly Free to Play), a program of the Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington. This program enables more children to reap the benefits of extra-curricular sports, music and other activities.
We will learn more details at our December meeting when we will welcome a representative from the Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington to fill us in on what has been accomplished with the donation.
Mark your calendars for the next meeting which will be held on Monday, December 17, at the Lighthouse Restaurant at the Grand River Raceway, 7445 Wellington County Road 21 in Elora.
Registration and Networking: 6-7 pm
The Meeting: 7-8 pm
We want this group to continue to grow so that our community impact becomes even bigger, so please consider bringing a friend with you on December 17! If you’re looking to join 100 Women Who Care Rural Wellington, please complete the membership commitment form and our committee will be in touch.
